I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I received a PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Ohio State University in 2017， and a B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2012. I was a postdoctoral researcher at University of California, Berkeley between 2017-2019, working with Prof. Kameshwar Poolla and Prof. Pravin Varaiya. I received the 2020 O. Hugo Shuck Best Paper Award from the American Autonomic Control Council, the Best Student Paper Award (as co-author) at 2020 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and the Best Student Paper Award Finalist (as co-author) at 2018 European Control Conference.
My research lies in the intersection of control, optimization and game theory with applications in Smart City. One focus is on design and analysis on emerging intelligent transportation systems. Another focus is on economic operations for modern power systems with deep integration of renewable energy.
I am recruiting students to join our group at HKUST! If you are interested, please send your CV to email@example.com.
